01// what it does
Everything you need to read, review, and fix.
Coding agents do the heavy lifting now. Zuco covers what comes after: skimming what changed, checking the diff, and making the small edit that finishes the job.
-
native.rs
Native, not a web view
Built in Rust with GPUI and drawn on the GPU. No Electron and no browser runtime, so it opens instantly and stays responsive on huge files.
-
watcher.rs
Keeps up with your agents
A native file watcher reloads clean files without moving your cursor. If a file changes on disk while you have unsaved edits, Zuco warns you instead of overwriting either version.
-
source_control.rs
Source Control built in
Stage, commit, pull, and push. Read unified or split diffs, see changes in the gutter, and check line blame with linked GitHub pull requests.
-
search.rs
Find anything
Quick-open files by name, search the whole workspace with ignore rules respected, and jump to any line.
-
editor.rs
Real editing
Multiple cursors, select next occurrence, Tree-sitter highlighting for Rust, TypeScript, Python, Go, and more, and seven GitHub themes checked for contrast.
-
journal.rs
Never lose work
Atomic saves protect your files, and unsaved buffers are journaled in the background. If your Mac crashes, they reopen next time.
02// deliberately small
What we left out, on purpose.
Zuco does one job. Everything below is left out on purpose, so the editor stays fast and there's nothing extra to set up.
